Soccer is the most loved and popular sport in Ghana that unifies the whole country. In view of creating a great source of entertainment, helping children / youth to put their energies to good use, spot and groom talents for greatness and most importantly encourage children to stay school, this projects was initiated.

Becky’s Foundation therefore has a Soccer Academy, which consists of under 13, 15, and 17 boys’ soccer teams that participate in the district soccer league.

Since its introduction, the project has indeed succeeded in encouraging kids who are good soccer players but not interested in schooling, to go back to school in order to get the chance to join an organized and competitive soccer team/league.

It is a honour and pleasure to have been working with several international volunteers who have lead training sessions, coached the teams during games, organized friendly games, and donated soccer equipment.
